Gold star moto-cross
Kerry Reeves, of Rangiora, on a Yamaha 125 J, dominated the 125 c.c. class at Teddington yesterday when the Corsair Motor Cycle Club held the last round of the South Island gold star moto-cross series. He won all three races. The most successful rider in the 250 c.c. class was Austin Wadsworth (Blenheim) on his Honda. He won two races and was runner-up in the other. Trevor King
(Dunedin) had one win and two seconds. In the open class, Stephen Oliver (Prebbleton) had two wins and a second from three rides on his Honda CR4BO. Results:— 125 c.c. class— Race 1; K. Donald Bates (Christchurch) won all the support class events and Robert ■ Thomas (Christchurch) was runner-up in ail races except one.
