Regimental chaplaincy

The retired Dean of Christchurch, the Very Rev. Michael Underhill, has been appointed chaplain-comman-dant of the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment. His duties include responsibility for other army chaplains, and fostering loyalty and a sense of community among enlisted men. His appointment took effect on January 7 but his first formal duty will be to bless the new Army chapel at Linton Military Camp.
