Another pop star
Martyn Bullimore, the re-cently-appointed manager of the Academy, is continuing his policy of screening a. variety of films during the week at various sessions.
“Performance,” ■ starring Mick Jagger in one of his few acting roles, starts tomorrow for regular week-
day and Saturday evening screenings. Jagger seems ideally cast for this rather strange film about changing identity and sexuality. The Friday and Saturday late shows, at 11.30 p.m., will feature live performances by The Who in '“The Kids Are Alright."
The Sunday screening, at 7.15 p.m., will include James Dean in probably his bestknown movie, “Rebel Without a Cause.” The supporting feature. Terence Malik's “Badlands," is about a James Dean look-alike, a casual killer who wants to become a media hero.
