Report premature
A report in “The Press" last Saturday about a list of rural areas to be considered for sewerage schemes by the Christchurch Drainage Board was somewhat premature.
Although the report was put before the meeting of the board’s development and construction committee last week, it was decided to defer consideration of the report until next month’s meeting because committee members had not had sufficient time to read it.
The report has therefore not yet been ’considered by the’ board and no decisions have been reached on the matters reported. “The Press” regrets the error. /
