Gas industry conference
Delegates from seven overseas countries are to attend the 1982 New Zealand Gas Industry Conference, which will open in Wellington on Wednesday. March 24. Heading the visitors will be the president of the International Gas Union. Mr Eric Giorgis, of Switzerland. Other overseas delegates are coming from the United States, France, the United Kingdom. Australia, the Netherlands and Finland. About 150 delegates are expected. according to the secretary of the Gas Association of New Zealand (Mr Bruce Cathie). The conference will be opened by the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon). Papers are to be presented by speakers from the United States. Australia and New Zealand.
