Shop our columns and you’ll see why!D AKAROA COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSURE OF ROAD TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulation 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of the Autosport Club Inc. conducting the New Zealand Gold Star Hillclimb Championship event, the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. (1) Duvauchelle-Pigeon Bay Road: from the junction with the Stock Route up to the junction with the Summit Road. The period of closure being from 10.30 a.m.-5.00 p.m. on Saturday March 13, 1982. (2) Akaroa Summit Road: From Pigeon Bay Road to Pipers Valley. The period of closure being from 10.30 a.m.-5.00 p.m. on Sunday March 14, 1982. During the period of closure Club Officials may allow use of the closed roads at their discretion. It will be an offence under the above Regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure. G. Council has by resolution fixed the following fees for dogs:— DOG REGISTRATION 1982-83 3 Months of Age or Over For the period April 1, 1982 to March 31, 1983 FOR EACH WORKING DOG (i.e. any dog owned by a shepherd or drover dr farmer and kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving, cattle or sheep; or owned by a Pest Destruction Board, or by a person employed by a Pest Destruction Board, and kept solely for the purpose of destroying pests as defined in the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967).
