Talks on hotel sale
PA Wellington New Zealand hopes this week to finalise the future of the Rarotongan Hotel, the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) said yesterday.
The Cook Islands Minister of Economic Development (Mr Vince Ingram) would be in Wellington tomorrow to continue talks with the Government.
The future of the hotel, owned by Mr Ingram’s Government, Air New Zealand, and the Tourist Hotel Corporation, has been in doubt since Air New Zealand cut its flights to the Cook Islands.
