English cricketers in South Africa
Sir,—The decision of the English cricketers to flout the Gleneagles Agreement by visiting South Africa with a starstudded eleven in the interest of world cricket is a major setback for the communistinspired black power movement. These highly intelligent sportsmen fully realise that if a stand for freedom of thought and action is not made now the once proud Commonwealth of Nations may eventually become bogged down and oppressed by the common enemy as has happened over the years to Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland and other once independent nations of the free world. — Yours, etc., L. WESTNEY. March 1, 1982. . • -
