A peformance that will be of major interest in Christchurch this week-end is the first appearance of the Tall Dwarfs - ex-Toy Love members Chris Knox (left) and Alec Bathgate. The gig will be an orientation stein at Canterbury University on Saturday evening, which is open only to ticket-holders, The public will get a chance to see the Tall Dwarfs at the Star and Garter soon. The duo released an EP last year which sold well, and received critical acclaim. A follow-up is due. Knox and Bathgate have been loitering at the university steins, grinning happily in praise of the younger Dunedin bands.
