Indian dancing show
A demonstration of Bharata Natyama, an Indian dance technique, will be held in the Robert McDougall Art Gallery at 3 p.m. on Sunday. The dances will tie presented by Smt Ambika Prasad, a graduate of the Seu Rajarajeshwari Dancing
School and a student of Smt Padma Nagpur, of Nritya Nandini, Bombay. Bharata Natyama has been translated as “expressive dance that tells a story”. It is known among classical dance forms of India for its elegance and grace.
