Women’s softball
Kaiapfii had a surprise 3-2 win over Papanui in a senior women’s softball game on the skin diamond of Papanui Domain on Tuesday evening. Sharyn Piper, Suzanne Reed, and Corinna Giles were the run-scorers. In another match, Burnside comfortably beat Western Suburbs, 8-4. Albion had eclipsed Monowai. 10-0, the night before.
