Reconciliation ‘aim of court counsellors’
PA Wellington Family Court counsellors will encourage parties involved in marriage disputes to come to their own agreements, according to the Minister of Justice (Mr McLay). “Counselling will explore the possibility of reconciliation but if that is not possible then the goal is to reach as much agreement as possible,” he said. appointed to the Court had already taken up their positions. These are the six appointees in the .North Island: at Auckland, Otahuhu, Rotorua, Hamilton, Palmerston North, and Wellington. The two South Island appointees, who will be based in Christchurch and Dunedin, will take up their positions on March 8 and 22.
