Jeff Pascoe leads
Jeff Pascoe, of Picton. moved into the lead in the Motorcraft national Formula Ford championship when he convincingly won noth heats at Ruapuna yesterday. Pascoe drove coolly in his Titan to outstrip the bunch of drivers battling for second place. In the second heat John Crawford, of Christchurch, looked set to take a shock
second place but Mike King (Auckland) slipstreamed him around the sweeper on the final lap and shot past to beat him by about a metre. ResultsHeat one: Pascoe 1. King 2. I.
