Bruce Turner dominant in sidecar races

The New Zealand sidecar champion. Bruce Turner, once again proved his superiority in the three-wheel class at ' the Ruapuna Park Speedway on Saturday. . He won the first two races and finished second in the filial event. Turners partner on the first two occasions was his conational title-holder and wife, Norma, but Mrs Turner stepped out of the chair in the third race to allow a veteran solo racer. Graeme Stapleton. a try at what is a more dangerous arm of speedway. Turner had to work a little harder to cope with the extra weight provided by Stapleton but he led the field out and was only passed heading into the last back straight. There his younger brother. Wayne, slid inside the previous leader and hung on to finish first.

Bruce Turner's second place was neverthless a showcase of the riding skill that saw him win the national title for the fourth time at Te Maroa. Wellington, last week. Results:—
