Canterbury rugby patrons are going to see plenty of Australians in action tins year.
In addition to the test against tile Wallabies at Lancaster Park, in August, and Canterbury's game against Queensland early in May. the Australian under-17 team will play a test against their New Zealand Counterparts at Lancaster Park on Mav 22.
The Canterbury union accepted lliis under-17 match at its meeting lasi evening II also decided that it would adopt the same policy it did two years ago. when a similar game was played, and make it the main game of the day at Lancaster Park, ahead oi club matches.
The possibility was also raised at another Australian side, a schoolboys team, visiting New Zealand some .time 'during the season and;, one, of its games being playedf-in. Christchurch.
Canterbury will go straight through to the.final in Palmerstdn 'North- next month oi the revamped, national seven-a-side tournament.-- <
