Three left in bowls
Three players, from an entry of 33. will vie for the women's bowls first-year champion-of-champions title at Heathcote today. The three to survive the second day yesterday were F. Pope (New Brighton). J. Burlev (Barrington) and G.
Payne (Lincoln). Mrs Pope, who was the last two-lifer, was beaten. 2018. by Mrs Burley in the last round yesterday and she has a bye through to the final. Mrs Burley will meet Mrs Payne to determine the other finalist.
