Winstone Plastics. Ltd. the wholly-owned subsidiary of Winstone. Ltd, has begun production of PVC pipe products at a new manufacturing facility recently established in Christchurch. Among a wide range of plastic products primarily for the building industry. Winstone Plastics produces pipe and fittings for use in irrigation. building and sanitary drainage applications. "There has been a rapidly growing demand for these
products in the South Island and in some instances we’ve been faced with longer delivery times than we would wish.” commented Mr J. B. Ede. managing director of Winstone. Ltd. Distribution of products from the Christchurch factory will remain the responsibility of the existing distributors; Mico-Wakefield. Hume industries (NZ). Ltd. Winstone (South Island). Ltd and Winstone (Wellington). Ltd.
