Prizes to N.Z. films
PA Wellington The National Film Unit has taken first prize in the film section of the Pacific Area Travel Association competitions, with its film, “White Water Ride.”
Directed by Derek Wright, the film is about shooting rapids on New Zealand rivers.
Other prize-winners in the competitions were a Tourist and Publicity Department travel manual, winning first prize in the trade section for the second time running, and the department's Consumer Magazine advertisement, first in its section.
