Boys’ cricket to North Canty
North Canterbury reached a target of 167 runs in HOmin to beat Marlborough in the South Island primary schools' cricket tournament at Nelson yesterday. Fine batting by Brent Roberts (72) and Chris Horne (50), who put on 80 for the second wicket, paved the way for the win. Horne also took six wickets for 43 runs. The Ashburton left-arm slow medium bowler, Andrew Cavill. one of the stars of the tournament. impressed again with seven wickets against Southland. Scores: Section one: Central Otago 150 (A.
