Law prize awarded
PA Napier A Napier barrister and solicitor, Mr G. Lang, has won the 1981 Cleary Memorial Prize. The prize was instituted in memory of Sir Timothy Cleary, a former judge of the Court, of Appeal. It is awarded annually to a barrister or solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand who, in the three years after admission to the Bar, gives most promise of service to and through the profession.
