TV2 for Peninsula
TV2 will be introduced to Banks Peninsula in 1984. Work will begin on the main Mount Pearce station, then work will be done on other translators. The Broadcasting .Corporation said that the Mount Studhoime TV2 transmitter would be brought on at full power next year. This would affect the picture from the Little River translator. To overcome the interfer-
ence, the incoming signal to the Little River translator would be changed. Because of this, the output signal would be changed from channel five to channel four. This would allow the eventual introduction of TV2 to Little River without further change. The Broadcasting Corporation will publish more information nearer the changeover date.
