Lower Pacific fare offered
PA Wellington Air New Zealand and Aereolinas Argentinas have introduced a new "round thePacific” fare. The fare of 52300 comprises 10 destinations, including Nandi. Rarotonga, Tonga, Tahiti. Honolulu, Los Angeles, Lima, and Buenos Aires. Four stop-overs are allowed within the fare which offers savings of more than $lOOO on the normal economy fare. Passengers travelling on
the new fare must pay for their tickets 30 days before travel and must be away for a minimum of 10 days and a maximum of 90 days. Air New Zealand said yesterday that it would again offer cheap children’s fares to Fiji and Rarotonga in February and March. Children will pay an air fare of $1 for each year of age provided they travel with at least one parent. The fares are limited to children aged 11 and under. They will also be available on Air Pacific flights to Fiji.
