Fall from ceiling
A man who fell from the ceiling of’ the Brethren Church in Colemans Road, Blenheim, on Thursday afternoon, died later in Wairau Hospital. He was Roderick Richard Williams, aged 30, of Courtney Street, Motueka
Mr Williams was engaged in electrical work at the church. The Blenheim police said that it appeared that he was in the ceiling when the fall to the ground, a distance of about 3.5 metres, occurred.
He was discovered by a workmate and admitted to hospital with head injuries. He died at 10.45 p.m. on Thursday.
