Good win for Woods
Brent Woods, in a Humber Super Snipe, survived the onslaught of 44 others to win the $lOOO Demolition Derby at Woodford Glen Speedway oh Saturday evening. The derby lasted 25 minutes and the scene at the'erid was like a battlefield with the wrecks of cars lying smoking and buckled around the track. > The build-up to the derby saw the usual complement of saloon, stock-car and sportsman races. Super Saloon driver. Tony Cardwell, carried on his superb form with two excellent wins. He had to be content with second place on the 3ZM race, won by Wayne Pierson in the 228 Camaro.
