In Times like These — But were there ever Times like These? Logically, The Answer is NEVER — On the other Hand, Sir, doesn’t it strike You? — the More they change, the More they’re alike. In Times like These — Sir, doesn’t it occur To You? — where We are now is Where We always were? In a SPOT, familiar To us All, between Partial and total Paralysis — Of the Mind. I mean, The Mind of the Kiwi Which it can’t make up yet - If you vote for a Deadlock, that’s All you will get. And it All depends on Getting our Sums right! There’s Destiny in a Digit When the Finish is tight. A Minus, a Plus Makes History — well. It’s a Possibility! Only Time will tell. Will the Arithmetic Change our Condition? Ask Treasury or the Government Statistician! Or maybe a still better - Educated Guess From the Wild Life Division — Or the 5.1.5.?
