Man drowns
PA Napier The body of a man wno left seven children, was found floating in a stream on his family's farm in Pakowai Road, near Napier, about 11.30 a.m. yesterday. He was James Ying Young, aged 45. an orchardist.
The ponce said that Mr Young had gone swimming alone.
Another man. Christopher John Mills, aged 27, of Napier, is missing, presumed drowned, after a boating mishap at Mahanga Beach, near Wairoa. on Saturday.
Mr Mills and a friend were collecting crayfish pots about 150 m off the beach about 8 p.m. when their small aluminium dinghy overturned , in choppy seas. Mr Mills was swept away. Further north, the police will resume their search
early today for a body which the crew- of a Swedish yacht reported sighting in the water about Bkm off Cape Rodney on Saturday. There has. been no Sign of two men who disappeared after separate boating accidents in Manukati Harbour last month, i' ;
