Inflation
Sir,—lt has long been stated that certain sections of our media veer sharply to the naive Left and I note that a cartoon by Hodgson fits the bill. In his effort, of November 17 he depicts “inflation and unemployment" as Rob’s young Frankenstein. I feel bound to inform Hodgson that this “monster” is only one of a large and prolific international clan and that although he now resides with us - and. is indeed thriving marvellously - he was actually an illegal immigrant who arrived sometime before Rob even made it to the top. No doubt Bill will recall, he was on the job when young Frankenstein arrived here—Yours, etc., CHARLES JAINE. November 17, 1981.
