Man killed
A man was killed about 7 p.m. yesterday when the three-ton truck he was driving went over a bank skm east of Cass, on State highway 73. The police were unable to release the man’s name last evening because it was thought that his next-of-kin were overseas. A male passenger in the truck was being treated in the Christchurch Hospital late last evening. The man killed was employed by the Ministry of* Works and Development at Cass, and was driving a Ministry vehicle.
