Sport’s two “hotheads’
NZPA London John McEnroe and Dennis Lillee shared a double page spread in tlje London “Sun” newspaper yesterday while the “Daily Express” carried photographs of the stormy duo on its front page. Although the two hottempered sportsmen have probably never met they have now been indelibly
linked as the “hotheads” of international sport.. The “Sun” had two pictures of the Lillee kicking incident, one with him lifting his boot to Miandad and the other showed the Pakistani captain replying with a swinging bat. “And they dare to call themselves sportsmen," said the “Express” in a double page spread, with photos of McEnroe and Lillee.
