CROMWELL BOROUGH COUNCIL LIBRARIAN PART TIME APPLICATIONS are invited for the position of Librarian in charge of Cromwell Public Library. The Library serves a present Borough and District population of approximately 2800 which is expected to increase to more than 5000 by 1985 with the expansion of Cromwell as headquarters for the Clutha Development Project. The present Library, which has a stock of 10,000 books has recently been extended, and provides pleasant working conditions. It is staffed by the Librarian (approximately 30 hours per week) and Assistant (6 hours per week). A new Borough Library is to be built in the new Town Centre during' the expansion programme, and it is expected the Librarian position will grow to a full time one. The Council is seeking applicants with the ability and experience or qualifications to develop the Library through this challenging period.
