Brilliant winner of Waikato Guineas. Only ‘miss’ was third in G. N. Guineas this season. Looms as big chance. R. Harris Colours: Black and gold stripes, purple sleeves and cap. 10 2111 NOBLE HEIGHTS 14 53. The top filly so far this season. Won 1000 Guineas last Saturday. One of leading hopes. G. Phillips Colours: Royal blue and white hoops, grey sleeves, blue and white quartered cap. 13 1212 MARIE CLAIRE 8 53. Handy filly with recent wins have been at New Plymouth and Hastings and placings at Trentham and Woodville. P. Tims Colours: White, red cap. 14 2619 SILVER DARLING 18 53. Recent Te Rapa winner but battling a little in Waikato Guineas. B. Compton Colours: Light green, royal blue sash, gold armbands, gold and light green quartered cap. 15 8322 JULIA 5 53. Consistent filly which has been racing without much luck so far. Up to this company. - Colours: Gold royal blue striped sleeves,-cream sash and cap. 16 3453 PRINCESS DAN 2 53. Useful filly, but will be tested in this. W. Skelton Colours: Scarlet and royal blue chequered, gold sleeves, scarlet cap. 18 5037 SWEET NELL 11 53. Speedy but this is rich. D. Walsh Colours: White red diamonds, light blue sleeves, gold armband and cap. Scratched: Ardee, Athamas, Bound To Honour, Tudor Sky, Arbon, Paul’s Gold, Worldly Mist.
