N.Z. map wins award
PA Wellington A map of the Dargaville area, produced by the Lands and Survey Department, has won the British Cartographical Society’s International ■> John Bartholomew Award i for excellence in small-scale 4 thematic cartography. . q In a letter to the department, the secretary of the j" British society, Mr E. Sorrell, * said the map was selected . unanimously “as being an example of informative and succinct cartographic ‘ communications of the highest quality.”
