Sudan Govt sacked
President Taafar Nimeiri has fired all his Cabinet Ministers for alleged inefficiency, but ordererd them to continue in office until a new Cabinet is formed. He bitterly criticised the performance of his ministers, particularly in production, which he said had been “gravely deteriorating” during the last few years. Mr Nimeiri said export earnings had markedly decreased while import spending increased extensively. — Khartoum.
