More wines soon
PA Wellington Shops which hold a wine reseller's licence will have the right to sell imported wines from November 20. Generally small local shops, the wine resellers have been able to sell only
New Zealand wines until now. The Sale of Liquor Act, which extends this right, was passed last week. But the relevant section will not come into force until 28 days after the bill received the Governor-General’s assent.
