New Iranian P.M.
The Iranian Parliament has approved the appointment of Mir Hussein Mussavi, aged 40, as Prime Minister, by 115 votes to 39 with 48 abstentions. Mr Mussavi has been Foreign Minister and was the second choice of President Ali Khamenei for prime minister, the first choice. Ali Akhbar Velayati, having been rejected by Parliament on October 22. — Teheran.
