PA Nelson Nelson freezing workers agreed yesterday to allow a year’s trial at the Stoke works of a revolutionary automatic pelting machine. “We hope to start its use on Monday when a small number of carcases will be put through to see that everything is working on the engineering side,” said Mr Barry Johnston, manager of the Waitaki NZR, Ltd, worked.
