Delay for Skybus

PA Auckland The first domestic flights by Skybus are still several days away. The manager of the Skybus division of the Piako Aero Club, Mr John Trolove, said yesterday that he was awaiting approval by the Civil Aviation Division on what' he hoped was the last of the submissions required. The submission was a technical one, and lay within the requirement for an

amended air services certificate. As soon as it was received, the Skybus Viscount would begin flying, first on familiarisation flights. Technical servicing of the aircraft was being handled by the Hamilton company, James Aviation, said Mr Trolove. The airline had a ticketing area at the Auckland domestic terminal which could be prepared "in five minutes.”
