The return of an old Honda friend
One of Honda’s most popular models, the CTI2S, has just been re-introduced. A top seller between its introduction in 1976 and its demise in 1979, New Zealand farmers bought more than 3600 units.
The CTI2S is New Zealand’s only conventionally
framed specialist four-stroke farm motor-cycle at present and the inherent advantages of the four-stroke motor are embodied in this model. An appreciation of farm conditions has been responsible for variations in motor specification of the CTI2S.
Most significant of these is the heavier flywheel fitted for stronger torque and a lower final drive gear ratio.
In addition, first, second and third gears are closely spaced for low speed operation with a wide gap to fourth and fifth which are road gears.
