Athletes’ Commission
NZPA-Reuter Lausanne, Switzerland The International Olympic Committee (1.0. C. announced yesterday that it had set up an Athletes’ Commission after the success of athlete participation at the recent Olympic Congress in Baden-Baden, West Germany. The British world record-
holder, Sebastian Coe, is one of five members. The commission will represent athletes’ interests in the Olympic movement and will hold its first meeting in Rome next May, immediately before the next 1.0. C. session. The other members are Thomas Bach, of West Germany, Ivar Formo (Norway), Kip Keino (Kenya) and Svetla Otzetova (Bulgaria).
