One-day match venue
Hagley Oval will be the venue for an early season one-day cricket match between Canterbury and Wellington on December 13. The Wellington association agreed yesterday to a request from Canterbury to play the match in
Christchurch this season with a similar match to be held at the Basin Reserve next season. A trophy for the game, .which is likely to become an annual event, has been donated by a Wellington firm.
