S.W.I.F.T.
The Scott' Walker International Film Theatre (5.W.1.F.T.) is to show a Peter O’Toole classic, “Brotherly Love,” next Tuesday at the Arts Centre, Worcester Street.
The group was formed by two Christchurch enthusiasts who wanted to give local film buffs a second chance to see features that had only passed through the city quickly, or not at all. The “non-profit” theme seems to have been verified by the fact that ticket prices have dropped to $2, following good support for the theatre’s three previous showings, including a rare screening of “Freaks."
S.W.I.F.T. is also trying to locate some Greta Garbo movies before it winds up for 1981.
