Election TV
Sir,—From your report on Mr Chapman’s bleatings about unfair apportioning of time on television, are we to conclude from his statement that he is in favour also of proportional representation in Parliament, or just where and when it suits him? It’ is about time Social Credit was given a chance to tell people they don’t print money or any of the other propaganda Mr Chapman’s “hit” men have been peddling for years. It has always been the case of “give, a dog a bad name.” Now with Socred coming more and more into the consciousness of people, perhaps the equal time on television will at last mean a true democratic government. — Yours, etc., G. McRAE. October 25, 1981.
