Maths final in Chch
Finalists in the B.N.Z. Senior Mathematics Competition for secondary school pupils will arrive in Christchurch on Friday to sit the final paper and receive prizes. Six pupils from Christchurch are among the 20 national finalists. They were selected from 2000 who entered this year’s competition, which is organised by the Canterbury Mathematical Association. The finalists will sit the final paper at the University of Canterbury on Friday morning. Prizes worth more than $2OOO will be presented at Christchurch Boy’s High School in the evening.
