New ballet manager
PA Wellington The administrative director of the Mercury Theatre in Auckland, Mr Christopher Mangin, has been appointed general manager of the New Zealand Ballet. Mr Mangin was involved in student productions at Canterbury University before turning professional in 1972. He worked in the Court Theatre and studied theatre administration overseas before joining the Mercury Theatre in 1979.
