Widnes. which leads the British rugby league first division, managed only a 10-7 win over the bottom team. Whitehaven, last Sunday. The two Hull clubs., sharing second position, won in'contrasting fashion. Hull had an 18-5 away success at Wigan, but Hull Kingston Rovers, before its home crowd, was extended to beat Leigh. 18-15. Oldham continues to lead the second division. One .of its strongest rivals. Salford, was upset by Blackpool Borough. 3-0. at Blackpool. Results — Division One: Bradford Northern 22, Barrow 10; Castleford 40, York 4; Featherstone Rovers 8, St Helens 8; Hu!) K.R. 18, Leigh 15: Leeds 12, Fulham 12; Warrington 17, W'akefield Trinity 12; Widnes 10, Whitehaven 7; Wigan 5. Hull 18. Division Two: Blackpool Borough 3, Salford 0; Dewsbury 12.
