Penrith unbeaten
Sydney’s Penrith junior rugby league side remains unbeaten after winning the second match of its New Zealand tour, against the (Canterbury 18-year-olds, 1912, at Leslie Park yesterday. Surprisingly, the Australians were forced to work harder than they had in beating the Canterbury 19-year-olds by 18-7 at the Showgrounds on Sunday. Martin Pidcock was named “Player of the day” for Canterbury.
