Petrol ‘knife-edge’
PA Wellington Petrel supplies were on a “knife-edge,” said the Minister of Energy (Mr Birch) in Parliament yesterday. “I believe that provided we have the co-operation of
the public and there is no undue panic buying, we should be able to supply through the week-end. Beyond the week-end, supplies will start to improve,” Mr Birch said.
