Profit at Hororata
A profit of $4613, against $Bl7, is shown in the accounts to be presented at the annual meeting of the Hororata Trotting Club on Wednesday, September 2. “From a business or industry point of view, however, the result was far less rewarding,” says the report of the president. Mr Trevor Stevens. “On-course trunover. although up on last year, failed to reach the $200,000 plus we had hoped for and need to meet critical expenses of
operation and maintenance facing the club." says the report.
