Sir,—Authority upholds and condones a double standard when some anti-tour protesters can be arrested and charged with assault, disorderly behaviour and shouting naughty words, while a blind eye and deaf ears witness some supposed international “sportsmen" doing exactly the same thing on a green oval before 40,000 people and television cameras.—Yours, etc., M.
