Mr Blazey annoyed
PA Wellington The chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union, Mr C. A. Blazey, said last evening that he was annoyed that the Prime Minister's meeting on the Springbok lour had been delayed. Mr Blazey told the union’s Wellington-based executive that the delay, from yesterday morning until this morning, had resulted in a wasted day for four national councillors, Messrs Ron Don (Auckland), Pat Beaumont (Dunedin), Dick Littlejohn (Whakatane), and Peter Wild (Auckland). All of them had travelled especially to Wellington yesterday for the meeting. A smaller delegation of only Wellington-based councillors would now be at today's meeting.
